Megan is 9 1/2 Months Old!

Megan in so proud of herself- she loves to pull herself up to everything and STAND!!!

She's growing up way too fast!

*Favorites Foods: Bananas, Peaches, bread crumbs & graham crackers
*Hobbies: Playing the piano; dropping toys and/or clothes off the changing table; SCREAMING in her high chair in a very high pitched shriek; getting into the magazines and piano books; crawling after Alec & Lily around the house.
*Favorite Games: Peek-A-Boo; hiding under her crib

Domestic Diva 101

Yes, Folks, I AM a trained professional... but for all you Domestic Divas who also would like to make your very own "Tupperware Collectors Item" such as mine,

The steps are very simple.

1. Mix 1/4 cup sugar with 1/8 cup water in Tupperware cup.
2. Place in microwave oven.
3. Heat on High for 1 minute. You can feel confident in leaving the room. It did not burst into open flames in one minute- just the beginning of thick smoke...
4. Open microwave door and try not to yell or curse in front of small children.

Ta Da! The cup magically shrinks from about 5 inches to 2 inches in just one minute! When it completely cools, it hardens with the bubbles looking like they're still hot.

Now that's impressive.

Summer Schooling

Attention all parents of children ages preschool - 2nd grade (or there-abouts)-

I am sharing my favorite educational site!
I rediscovered Starfall.com this week, and I can't believe that I haven't had Alec on there in so long! It is a FREE site (Yay!) that has great ABC activities, as well as reading, and many other things. Alec loves it- and it is fun for me to help him, too. Be sure to check out the downloads center, too. Way cool printouts!

A little venting...

So here's my problem with Relief Society- Yes, I said MY problem, not Relief Society's problem. My ward is just too nice and supportive. Example: I was asked last minute to lead the songs for Relief Society yesterday. I hate standing up in front of all those beautiful women! They LOOK at me; they PAY ATTENTION; they SMILE at me (yes, Jen & Shannon... you're guilty)- I CAN'T TAKE IT!!! I taught Resource at Gramercy Elementary for two years- if you really want to make me feel more comfortable, please: Roll you eyes, turn around and talk to your neighbor, or just plain ignore me!!!
That would be great.

Family Pictures

These pictures turned out so great! It's a miracle that we're all looking in the same direction- pictures are a lot of work! Thanks Heidi for all you do. We think you're great!

Someone told me this last picture reminded them of the Peanuts cartoon where you never see the parents faces, you just hear "Woh Wah Woh..." I have to agree. Sweet.
