Welcome Baby Oaklee!

My sister Stephanie & her family welcomed little Oaklee into their family a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't able to make the trek down to see them right away, so when we finally were able to see her, Oh! What an angel! She is just perfect! Of course I brought my camera...

She was so fun! I put more pictures on my Shot Blog.

Uncle Nick took Lane & Alec out duck hunting. Alec thought that was the coolest thing!

Tim had to work still, so just the kids and I made a quick visit. This would have been a great plan if Megan didn't throw up going down there (this one wasn't so bad- and at least we were close to an exit with a gas station), but then we got a flat tire on the way home, and then Megan threw up again- in the middle of nowhere without any gas stations for miles and miles, and man, I was ready to just give up. I told Steph & Nick they'd better appreciate me!- or maybe I should learn a lesson and GIVE UP ON THE CAR TRIPS!! *sigh. If only it were that simple. Oaklee sure was a cutie. She made it all worth it!

New Moon Party Crasher

So I kindof crashed my sister, Chantelle and her friends midnight New Moon movie party! It was fun, though I have to tell you, I can't remember the last time I was out until 2:30 a.m. by choice. Especially considering I was up at 5:10 a.m. to go to the gym, and I was supposed to get up at that horrible hour again for boot camp the next day. Hmmm. Let me think. 2 1/2 hours of sleep before getting up to torture myself running, jumping, rowing, doing push-ups, sit-ups... yeh, I slept in. -clear til 7:00 a.m.! Wow.

I had the coolest treat. Yes, "New Moon Heart's Desire" chocolates. There must be something wrong with me.

And, I actually liked the show.

"The Best Day Ever!"

For Megan's & Lily's birthdays, my mom gave them a Princess Barbie and a ticket for the Disney Princesses on Ice! What a fun Girls Night Out. Lily & Megan dressed up in their princess dresses, and we were off. (Tim & Alec had their own Boys Night Out, eating at the Golden Corral and playing laser tag. Woo Hoo!)

Megan loved all the action and clapping. But after intermission, she was done with the ice skating. She was still good though, just didn't want to watch anymore.

At the end, Lily said to me, "This is the best day ever!!!"

I have the two cutest little Rodeo Queens!

Pink cowgirl hats complete with sequins and tiaras, along with hot pink cowgirl boots make for two happy girls. Lily has told me for the last couple of months that when she grows up she wants to be a Pony Rider. Well, giddy up!

Alec was a beat up Utah Jazz player. Poor Boozer.
